    The menu selected is empty!

    • Ok, strange problem, all of a sudden we get the message "The menu selected is empty!" with an empty dropdown to select any menu. Is this a bug or something?

      It's because your default_charset is not UTF-8 - so change that so that it is.

    • That makes it even more strange. The core CMS functions as a basis for 7 different other sites. When using the menu editor in any of the other 6 subsidiaries we have no problem with the editor. Things started ugly once the menu names where changed (normal characters nothing special).

      The charset is set to "no value" for all sites. I've also tried the "debug option" but no success...

    • Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll have a look for you.

      Could you try setting the default_charset to UTF-8 - hopefully that will correct this for you.

    • 1. You hydrogen template (both of them) is out of date so you should update that (backup first).
      2. The default_charset is still "no value" please set this to "UTF-8" in your php.ini
      default_charset = "UTF-8"
