    • Hi,

      one thing I can't find in the Gantry5 documentation and we got that question in the German Joomla forum:

      if you load a particle especially via the class visible-phone and hide the same particle with for example larger pictures via hidden-phone for faster loading of the page - is the particle with hidden-phone always loaded and just not shown or is it not loaded at all?

      This would make a huge difference in loading time and wasting of bandwith.

      There is nothing about it in the Gantry 5 documentation or at least I could not find it (if it is not there, maybe it would be a good idea to put some information about that topic in the documentation).

      Just hiding a particle with large images would not make a sense at all since it would be loaded anyway.

    • Both are loaded and rendered in the html and only hidden with CSS styling. This has to be this way as you can resize your browser window at any point.

    • Is there an elegant way not to load a particle / module at all for a mobile phone?
      So no bandwith is wasted?
