Fixed header for Gantry 5?

Hi, I'm wondering if there is any 'out of the box' setting which can be applied to all of the Gantry 5 templates, which will allow the header position (in particular the navigation menu) to stay fixed on screen so that scrolling appears to make the page content pass behind it and the navigation remains on screen.
I found this article www.inspiretheme.com/blog/freebies/42-fi...or-gantry-5-freebies and I was wondering whether this is the method we need to follow, or is there simply a class that we apply to the header section in order to achieve this (in case it is already available in RT templates).
I'm only interested in achieving this for Gantry 5. But I need to know whether I can pick any template of RT's and then follow this procedure.

Those particles certainly make life easier - so I would use those.
The alternative is to follow my tutotial: Gantry 5 fixed header tutorial can be found here http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/gantry5-for-joomla/249638-creating-a-fixed-header-navigation-in-callisto-new-and-updated . But that is for Callisto and will require changes. There's also this tutorial too http://gantry.org/blog/fixed-navigation - and that one is written for Hydrogen.
