SOLVED Gantry 5 Popup Module with login module display user name

I have created a popup module in my Protean template that contains the joomla login module. The module works properly, but i would like to display the user name along with the text Logout. For instance, I have the guest test display "Login" and the User Text as "Logout". I would like to have the display read "Logout Mary Smith". How can I add the username following the text of the button? The normal joomla login module will display the users name in any other position.

You will need to create a particle override for the popupmodule particle. This tutorial (which preceded the introduction of the popupmodule) will give you enough clues on how to change the code
