Fullwidth in an article

Hi
I start get finding my way in G5 but have now a problem I don't know how to solve.
With Helium you have the fullwidth option. What I would like is some fullwidth bands with image & text in an article
I know how to do this with multiple particles but for ease of editing (and privileges) it needs to be done in 1 article.
I can't seem to get a fullwidth option from in the article.
Any idea if this is possible?

Joomla articles load in whatever Section the Content Particle is in...
So set that Section to be FullWidth in your Layout Manager from the Section Settings cog -
