Can't edit or delete Tag Attributes of a section

  • Can't edit or delete Tag Attributes of a section

Posted 8 years 2 months ago
    • I have create 3 Tag Attributes under register Section for section Navigation in GRAV/Gantry 5 Layout. For example:

      "data-start" | "background:rgba(255,255,255,0.5);"
      "data-anchor-target | "#g-navigation"
      "data--200-start" | "background:rgba(255,255,255,1);"

Now I try to change "data--200-start" to "data--400-start", but sometimes gantry generate a new tag item or it deliver the same again which I have had deleted. What is wrong?

      use: Gantry5 Helium version: 5.4.6 / Released: January 26, 2017
      in Grav v1.1.15 - Admin v1.2.10

    • Please provide login details in the secure tab - there is no need to email support with these details... (i've copied and pasted them into your first ticket now).

I've found what I think is one bug and i'm not sure if this is the reasoning behind your issue - see https://github.com/gantry/gantry5/issues/1860 . Are you just pressing the "ENTER" key (which doesn't save value) - try clicking "APPLY" or "APPLY & SAVE" and then everything seems to work ok?

      Regards, Mark.

    • Yes indeed. This is exact the issue i mean. But i never use the enter key, only apply- and apply and save button.
Now I edited directly the script user/data/gantry5/themes/g5_helium/config/my-outline/layout.yaml. This is a solulion for me, but I think gantry has here a bug.

    • I've tested this extensively and can only get it to fail on "ENTER" key being pressed (hence bug ticket) - "APPLY" and "APPLY & SAVE" both work fine for me.

    • Yes I do and I tested in GRAV and Joomla as G5 is much the same in both. They both exhibited the same behaviour.
