RocketTheme/Gantry5 and EasySocial (Stackideas)

Hello, I'm a big fan of RocketTheme/Gantry5 and am looking at building a site using EasySocial, EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss bundle by Stackideas. I've seen some "pretty bad press" on Google regarding those extensions working with RocketTheme/Gantry5 templates, but they are from a year ago or more. I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this that they would care to share.
I like the fact that those extensions are all integrated (same vendor), but I'd love to get some feedback from the RocketTheme community before I drop a bunch of cash on those extensions only to find out they don't work on my template.
If you have experience with this, your input would be greatly appreciated!

Obviously we can't guarantee that third-party products will work alongside our products. That said, I've seen sites using both of those. What tends to happen with third-party products is that there is usually some CSS tweaking required to make them look like you want in a G5 environment but these are usually straightforward to sort out. Occasionally you might get some JS errors but again most can usually be sorted out.
I recommend that you ask the developer of those products for their opinion before purchasing.
