    Ignite Gallery does't work with Gantry5

    • When displaying an image with Ignite Gallery there is a white page and an javascrit error (see attachement 1)
      The Ignite support has answered that :

      "My guess is that you are using a template from rockettheme, and this template is loading both mootools and jquery 2.0. The gallery has a problem when both these 2 libraries are on the page.
      Templates should just load jquery 1.12, this is the javascript library that is used by Joomla 3.
      If you are using a rocketheme template, and this template is calling up both mootools and jquery, please request them to just use one javascript library."

      I tried to disable MooTools via the Gantry 5 admin Base Outline > Page Settings > Atoms > Javascript Frameworks (see attachement 2) without success.

      The gallery work finely with the default joomla template or a Gantry 4 template.

    • Gantry 5 doesn't use MooTools.... RokSprocket, RokGallery, and RokBox use MooTools... are you running any of those plugins?

      You shouldn't be loading any JS Framework via that Atom in your screen shot unless you know you need one for something custom... whatever plugin you're running should be loading its own libraries.

    • I don't use any RokSprocket, RokGallery, or RokBox. I disabled Roksprocket module but nothing changes.
      Loading or not loading JS Framework via that Atom changes nothing.

      But the Ugnite support has been efficient and they gave me a solution which is OK : download the 'jquery easy' plugin ans enable it to load the correct version of jquery.

    • Gantry 5 doesn't use jQuery either... some of our Particles do... but we always write them to the latest stable version of jQuery.

      If you're not running RokSprocket Rokgallery or Rokbox then I'm unsure what on your site would be running MooTools.

      Please note also that the JavaScript Frameworks Atom is not an enable/disbale... it's a "load only" thing... if you toggle one of those then it loads the library so unless you need a library for something custom you're doing (or you used a RocketLauncher package and we enabled one for something in the package) all of those toggles should be disabled
