The G5 documentation page at
docs.gantry.org/gantry5/advanced/customizing-theme-files
seems to indicate that you can put a html folder in the custom folder for template overrides. However, when I tried it with a module layout override that worked in the template/html folder, it didn't work in the template/custom/html folder. Are you able to get overrides working in a custom/html folder?

OK, I've put the module override mod_rseventspro_upcoming into the custom/html folder for Callisto. It contains a module layout called image1.php. However, when I go to the Modules/Upcoming Events and look for the image1 Layout, it is not longer there. When I put the exact same module override into rt_callisto/html it works.

You can name the override files anyway you like. If I name it image.php, it doesn't work either. I tried the same thing with the mod_menu and created an override in custom/html/mod_menu. It does not show up as a selection in the module layout select box. If you put the same override in template/html folder, it shows up in the layout selection as a template override.
Clearly, according to the G5 documentation, this is supposed to work. Not sure if it ever worked or has recently stopped working. Can you file an issue about this on github or should I?
