Copy or move existing Gantry 5 template to sister site

  • Copy or move existing Gantry 5 template to sister site

    • We spent a lot of time setting up and customizing a Ganty 5 template recently. We now have a sister site that we want the template to be essentially identical to keep the brand identity across sites. Is there a way to package and move the existing (working) template and move it to the new site without losing all of the customizations?

    • The best thing to do is just clone the site using akeeba backup and akeeba kickstart.

    • What if that isn't really an option? The sister site already has content in it so using akeeba to copy won't work as it would overwrite everything we have already done.
