How to delete a module from the menu?

I added a module to the menu, but it seems like there's no way to delete it.
It's not like layouts where you can simply drag it away and onto the delete/close .
I tried disabling the module in the menu to solve the problem but that also didn't work.
Disabling the module in module manager did the trick, but it's not the solution I want as it's still there in the back end. - Last Edit: 2 years 6 months ago by Eoin.

Just drag up to the delete well that appears at the top.

What joomla version and what template? Also what browser? Any errors in browser console?

Please post your FTP logon, password and FTP URL in the secure area of your post.
The menu is corrupt and needs the yaml file deleting and recreating.
