    Dark theme for Gantry 5?

    • Joomla control panel has a dark theme, will Gantry 5 settings be compatible for viewing in a dark theme?
      now I can't see most of the text in Gantry 5 settings when I use it with the dark theme of Joomla control panel.
      it's very difficult to edit template settings in Gantry 5 when you have to select the text with the mouse every time to see the invisible text (in the dark theme of Joomla 5 control panel).

      I have 2 very important questions:
      1) when will Gantry 5 settings be compatible with the Joomla dark theme?
      2) when will Gantry 5 have the ability to add a button (or particle) to switch to the dark theme for any template (a similar feature has already been done in other frameworks for Joomla)?

    • It's not an error, it's just not compatible. Joomla requires 3rd party devs to write their own CSS if they want to be dark mode compatible.

      Gantry is an open source project. You're welcome to submit the CSS as pull request here: github.com/gantry/gantry5/pulls

    • Lack of support for dark theme and obvious unwillingness to develop compatible dark themes is appalling. You can't really call your software Joomla 5 compatible if you don't address this issue.

      YOU are the third party developer.

      I can't get a response from your support team and then am insulted to have to pay a premium fee for a response?

      Shame on you Rocket Theme.

    • It's not a Theme thing, it's a Gantry thing... Gantry powers the backend/admin experience and Gantry does not have support for Joomla's admin-side dark mode.

      Someone raised an issue ticket here: github.com/gantry/gantry5/issues/3248
