This is another of my novice questions... thank you by the way to all of you that have been so patient with me as I learn. This forum has been amazing. I have grown so much in knowledge and confidence that I can do this! :cheesy:
I see that every website I go to has a great little icon that shows up in the address bar and the tab of the web browser. How do I make my logo show up there?
Please be kind no PM without asking,Pm without asking will result in fow list
help also on freenode irc #joomla, hosting solution for a great value 20 users only per server.
Pierre.
OK... got it created and saved on my hard drive...
Now how do I get it on the site? Is it specific to the template? or one of those basic things I should know but don't?
I know I need to save the image to the server... but is there a specific folder I should save it to? Then, I am suppose to save the code to the HEAD section of the pages... where is that?! LOL
Sorry to ask what must be the silliest questions... just need to gain the knowledge!
Retired, but build and run websites for organisations of school leaders and others - e.g. http://www.icponline.org, http://www.aspa.asn.au, http://www.appa.asn.au

You might also check out Phoca Favicon at
phoca.cz/phocafavicon
- I've used it on a few sites, and it does almost everything for me, including resizing a graphic to the correct size. It's free, and it's great!! (And I don't get any commission!)
