Placing icons next to menu items in a module..

I'm trying to position the icon just to the left of the 'restaurants/food outlets menu item. All i'm getting is this...
It's put the icon above the menu item and below the one above.
Has anyone got a menu that has different icons next to each item? if so how are the icons positioned correctly? Cry

Well I just click the insert/edit image button on the editor and choose left from the position dropdown menu to do that. I am not sure if that ability to chose the positioning like that differs by editor, but just to let you know, I am using the jce editor. Do you have a url so we can see what you are talking about, because the area you have here that says "like this" after that it's just blank space. Now by icon, you mean pictures or are you talking about a list with bullet points?

Sorry, my image didn't get displayed.

Look at the reviews menu, I want the image to be displayed to the left of 'restaurants/food outlets' not above it like that.
If it's any help i'm using joomla 1.0.11 and the mobius template.
