stye for control panel page for Joomla admin is missing

This is quite a strange thing and not sure how to get beyond this:
Attached is a screenshot of what happens after I log into the admin side of one of my customers' sites
If I click on one of the links in on the page (one of the articles for instance), I'm able to see the admin panel as usual and it's styled the way it should be and use the admin side of the site as usual... This ONLY happens to this one site and ONLY on the control panel page...
If I'm in another section and click back to the control panel, the same thing happens... what am I missing? Was there a piece of code that got missed?
I'm not sure I want to re-install Joomla since I really don't want to loose all the work I've done on my site here...

thanks for the message and the details.
i had a look and when i scroll to the end of the page i see an error:
Fatal error: Class 'modFeedHelper' not found in /homepages/33/d326290718/htdocs/public/administrator/modules/mod_feed/tmpl/default.php on line 4
maybe this file is corrupted somehow? i also suggest that you post at the forum at joomla.org
