I hope your nice coding (and thanks a lot to Mr. Legato aswell) does find his way within the next update of the quantive template!! No.1 keep it up!! Please bring the rockettheme templates to another level!! Maybe you can initiate this...it MUST find it´s way from experimental to the next stable update of quantive template..That would be exactly what a lot of users (sometimes a bit frustrated) wants: You can choose the template width of rockettheme templates !! Great! Hope this can be included into the next update of quantive, and maybe too for other templates too...Why not?! The customers and clients would be greatfull! I promisse you
Maybe it´s not tested enough, but as I can see there isn´t any bug or issu afaik...
Thanks a lot man, I appreciate this exyperimental feature!

Nice that it is working for you now
I'm not part of the Rockettheme-team. Gantry is an open system that we can extend ourselves (wich is different from other so called "frameworks"). I would like to see other members contribute to gantry as well.
I'm really not the most clever guy in the world and by far no educated coder so if I can do it other should be able to do it too. - Last Edit: 14 years 9 months ago by Henning.

Just want to jump in to say thanks to Henning for doing a great job covering this topic. he's spot on with the fact that Gantry is a gpl project that is perfect for expanding and developing on.
Really Gantry itself does not 'have' to be 960px, as Henning has outlined, but restricting the size to the most popular 960px size for RT theme releases is a smart move because it means we can do designs that we would not be able to do if we had to allow for people changing the size.

yah could be since some of the new features of gantry went in to latest .... Quantive.
You could try the template independent version.
