Problem with the native readmore button

Hi All,
I have a problem when using the readmore button,
see this picture for a small explanation:

1 readmore button is place on the left side of the article / under the picture.. everything looks allright
2 I change the position of the readmore button
3 it somehow manage to interfere with the position of the other articles - how and why ?

Screen shots are helpful, we can’t use debugging tools on them to suggest changes to achieve the desired results.
While I may not have a solution to this issue, for the moderator (or member) that might, could you please provide a link to your site in this thread, and if applicable, a direct URL to the issue so they can check it out?
