Stupid Website Building Question

Strange and probably simple question.
I'm building a site for a friend. He has his own domain, say, www.test.com .
I have my own domain, let's say, www.mysite.com
I want to build his site on a temporary subdomain of my site, let's say, dev.mysite.com
Okay. Now to move his site from my dev.mysite.com to his test.com what would I have to do?
1. Download the folders and files from dev.mysite.com
2. Go into PHPMyAdmin and export the MySQL databaase
3. Go to his site and upload the files/folders
4. Go into his PHPMyAdmin and import the MySQL database I exported
5. Make sure in his Joomla install in Global configuration it is set to the correct database??
That's how I would do it in my head. Am I close? or way off? Is there anyway this whole process could harm other sites I have on my 'account'? ...

VERY close, but save yourself some time and energy, use Akeeba Backup and all this will be resolved automatically, you can have a cup of coffee (or a beer) while it does all the work, and in the end, you will be a hero!! :cheesy:
