Problem updating Joomla

- Hi
  
  I've been trying to update my 1.5.15 to 1.5.18 using update manager
  
  However i'm getting this error
  This image is hidden for guests.

  It says that there is a problem with line 298 in file.php

  I tried changing the permission of the file but still no use
  
  Appreciate if someone can tell me what the problem is

- have never used "update manager"
  
  Have you tried FTPing it and then extracting using cpanel?

  Usually what I do is back up the site, upload the upgrade to a folder in the root (I have a folder named 'upgrades')
  
  Then through my host's CP, I just extract the contents of the latest upgrade (from the 'upgrade' folder) to the root, overwriting the existing files.
  
  It's much faster than downloading the upgrade, extracting it, and then using an FTP client to upload all the files.

  RokPad has been updated to version 1.3 which adds support for Mootools 1.2 and Joomla 1.5.19"
  
  Went to J.org but no 1.5.19 version available????
