    • A small personal note from me: We all started from scratch. No one should expect to create a high-end site within two days. Working with a CMS to work does not mean that one must not learn. You have to invest some time. Show some patience and respect – to mods and users.

      Always: Never stop learning ...

    • Always - Check the sticky posts...the mods made them sticky for a reason...like a faq for that topic.

Be Nice...You catch more flies with honey than vinegar!

Just because the mods haven't responded in 2 hrs don't think you're being ignored. The mods are all in different times zones and some of them (though not all) do need sleep and have lives outside of these forums. (They are mostly busy providing screen shots to Henning  )

    • I am trying to get a clean Joomla download with the data. Been having problems, but find your detailed description may be very useful to accomplish this. However, at the sentense:

Go here and DL the latest Rocket Launcher version: code.google.com/p/gantry-framewo ... loads/list

I see six downloads. - which one should I use?

      thanks, Thad

    • Try the Gantry Template for Joomla 1.5 3.0.12 Rocket Launcher, you can install with or without the sample date as mentioned in the original link.

    • When I try to upload the Rocket Launcher, I get:

Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Looked into previous forum comments and they indicate that I should unzip it, then send over to the server using FTP.

The unzipped files contains no directories - just lots of files. The next step suggests not installing the Sample data?

Do a clean install and do not install the Sample Data.

How do I distinguish the Sample data from the non-sample data in the unzipped file?

And once I distinguish them, where do I out them on the web server? in the directory templates?

    • I can upload the gantry_joomla_framework and any template from RT. But I still can not get the "sample data" to show up with the template.

I have unzipped the rocketlauncher package and FTPed to the server with absolutely no luck.

Do you have a SQL file that I can use to download the "sample data"?

    • The Rockerlauncher is only when you do a COMPLETE NEW joomla-Installation.
NOT for an already existing one ...

Sorry we don't provide SQL-files. Do a fresh Joomla-installation with the Rocketlauncher instead.
One of the last steps when you do such a new Joomla-installation with the Rocketlauncher is to click on the "install sample-data"-button.

You can find a tutorial about using the Rocketlauncher here:

    • So far I have found that to use the "sample data" button; I need to delete Joomla from the site and use the "rocketlauncher.pdf" tutorial that is available with any of the RT templates.

where I upload the contents of the rt_templateName_j15-rocketlauncher to my server.
      Then hit:
      www.mysite.com/rt_templateName_j15-rocketlauncher .

But the would knock my site off the network; so this solution is unacceptable. One of the options is to provide a SQL file, but as stated in an earlier post, the SQL is not available. Thus, my question is "What other options do I have?"
