    • Hi Rockettheme:

I'm one of a lot of webmaster freelance that works around the world giving technical support to the websites and the implementation of them on the internet.

I have some doubts that I would like to clarify. They are about some topics referred to the marketing of the templates.

As webmaster freelance, I offer to my customers the creation of websites using the RocketTheme's templates. The questions is: If someone wants to get the template, I have to create a new user account for the company or the person that want to give my services and buy them the license or i can buy the template under my user account?

That is, for me being a webmaster, can i order any number of licenses that i need depending on the quantity of customers that want the templates?

      Another query is:
When I finish my website project for my client, can I give them a copy of the original template for them to use it in case that the website needs any type of maintenance or repair, under any reason like an hacker's attack or technical damage?

I have understood that is prohibited the total reproduction of the template to other people that isn't subscribe to RocketTheme, unless RocketTheme has been advised previously.

      Unauthorized use:
You may not place any non-GPL portions of our products, modified or unmodified, on a diskette, CD, website or any other medium and offer them for redistribution or resale of any kind without prior written consent from RocketTheme.

In this case, what i have to do to process this action? What is the way get the consent of RT?

In shorter words, mi query is: How we treat the people that offer the creation of a website with temples of RocketTheme for different companies o people that no have any idea of how we realize a project and hence, they ask for help to people that can do the job.

Thanks a lot of for the time to read my questions

    • You are allowed to have as may live sites as you have entitlements for. I.e., if you have three entitlements, you can have three live sites, if you have six, you can have six live sites.

These sites can be for your own personal use, or they can be sites you develop for clients.

As long as your entitlements match the number of live sites you have, you’re all set. If you develop many sites, you may consider a developers license which allows you unlimited sites for the duration of your membership.

So, you can simply develop your client’s site(s) using your account and entitlements.

As far as giving your client(s) a copy of the template files, you can’t.

As a ‘webmaster’ or ‘developer’ it’s your job to deliver a finished site, not the template.

If they need further changes or development, they should come to you.

As far as hacker’s attack or technical damage, you should always keep current backups of the site and offer your clients a method to do so.
