- So guys i`m new in here, and i will get to know the members and the other part of the team as time passes. I`m the new Lead Designer and i`m creating this thread to get an idea and an opinion on the Web Design trends going on all around the web! I would like to talk about the trends and what you guys think, would be great to post links and discuss on those, what would you like RT to design in the future and so on... if this thread is on the wrong Topic please the moderators take a bit of your time and move it somewhere, where it would fit better!

I'm very new here, but I figure I'll offer my two cents anyways.
I love the templates that offer unique structures and lots of preset styles in all of the main colors. For me at least, the artistic design that goes into the backgrounds is awesome, but usually too specific to fit my clients' needs. I'm all for clean, simple, and attractive websites that have something unique to offer in how it is laid out. For instance, Jan 2010 - March 2010 offer something a little different each month in terms of structure. When I look at those templates, if there isn't a preset that fits my client (usually there isn't) then I'm thinking in terms of what I can turn the layout into, not the current backgrounds that it holds. This probably seems very simple to the experienced developers here, but it's currently how I feel when I'm looking for layouts for my clients.
