website is unavailabe when www is in the url

hello all ..
ive packed up a website using joomlapack and its was successful if i go to alliedenergy.com.kw
but when i write www.alliedenergy.com.kw the site becomes unavaialble ?
what could be the problem .. i guess its something i need to change in configuration.php ?

- Both work for me as well. In any case, I believe those settings are with your domain registrar and not with your file settings. I believe the official term is called a CNAME.

Both working here... But to be honest, you don't want them to work for both since it will dilute your page rank. You should choose one or the other, and then do a redirect using your htaccess file.

something like this in htaccess should work.
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^yourdomain.com
RewriteRule (.*) www.yourdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
if you want to keep it to www ...

you should try using the many canonical plugins they have on the JED.
