    • Hi all Iam new to joomla news and have been using it on my site for the last 2 weeks. I must say its a great product and has made layout issues much easier. However Iam encountering a bizarre error with internet explorer users. Even if a user is a manager or administrator for login status, the browser can't find the server when they try and modify the content they have submitted. Example:

      User Josh enters with a manager status, and clicks an article title, and then clicks the pencil icon to modify previously submitted content. He decides not to modify and clicks the big red x and leaves the area. He does not leave the website and re-clicks the article title and then clicks the pencil icon and this time he gets an error where the browser cant find the server.

      The bizarre thing is that if the user leaves the website and then reopens everything the error does not occur until they repeat the process without leaving the website.

    • It could be a browser cacheing issue. I hated working with IE and Joomla! You can switch to firefox, or just clear the cache before you edit the article.
