    Searching for book style slider

Posted 14 years 9 months ago
    • Hi Guys and Girls

I have to create a template with Joomla with a book/pamphlet style slider almost where the pages are flicked through. I know the rocket theme templates are extremely versatile but just wondered how this could be achieved.

The following site has a similar effect to the one I would like to recreate. As ever any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    • The link you provided is not a Joomla site and the the slider is (custom) Flash animation.

RT has rotators built into many templates, but I don't think you can expect that level of functionality in rotators from any template club, RT or otherwise.

You may be able to find something similar on the JED at joomla.org if you search for 'content slider', there are many free as well as commercial extensions.

For example, www.2joomla.net/ has some nice stuff.

IMHO, you probably won't find an exact match as that is really custom work, so you'll need find something that you can be satisfied with or have it custom coded for you.
