Can’t change style in Syynaps.

Don’t see a post about this template but I like it so far.
The only real problem I have is that I can’t change the style or header.
Seems to be locked were it is. vincescomputer.com
The template editor shows the changes but what you see is all it will do.

- Hi Vince, Are you saying that you not all the template parameters are displayed when you go to them via extensions/template manager in the back end. If they are check that these are writable which it will tell you at the top of the parameters. You can also check/change these thru the 'params.ini' file which is in your template folder. Hopes this helps. John

- Hello John, Thanks for the reply. They show up in the template manager and I can select them and it shows the changes in the manager but not on the site. I have made the params.ini writable but when I click apply when changing the style it go's back to unwritable.

Vince, Check this post and see if it helps. I did a search for 'params.ini not writeable' to find it. It seems like a permissions problem. One work-around is to edit the file on you pc and the upload it to your site so you bypass having to edit it on the site.

Thanks John, I found that it is a cashe problem with my machine or something. I can see the changes on another machine. The crazy part is it's been three days since the change and I still can't view the changes on this machine only and I only have the problem with this site. All my other sites cashe out fine and all changes are viewable.
I am a computer tech. and it's got me stumped.
The top and bottom of the main page are wood grain but on my machine I only see a burgandy plain color. The problem is with ie 8 I think. Firefox shows the changes fine.
