Very unhappy with RT support.

    • I am very unhappy with rockettheme support, I have never seen a forum with so many big 0 for legit questions that would be very simple to answer.

We buy at least 10 templates a month for customers, we were impressed by rocketttheme, but other places we get out templates answer questions within a day....

People are spending their hard earned money and some are asking 1 question that doesn't get a knod, and other users aren't going to waste their time with your questions as nobody helps them...

      sad.

    • wow, this post got me 2 answers to previously ignored questions in less than a half hour... yippiee!

      thanks guys...

I hope you will follow threw, cause say if we start getting something worked out and you just bail, thats worse than starting to help in the 1st place.

+ those 0 and 1's with people asking for help with nobody ever helping them, that really scares me off for the future. How hard could it be to help most people, or at least tell them where to start ?

trust me I could be a valued RT member after all I might not be the words best web designer, but man do I get the marketing contracts... really... I do. As a company that doesn't have a "real" designer on board we have to be confindent that a template maker will help us getting a few things sorted out every once in a while... pronto..

    • First: It would help a lot if you obide by some simple forum rules. The "me too" questions pose a problem. It may seem to all moderators that a question has already been answered.
Always and always open your OWN topic, that will certainly get answers more quickly.
The me too's do not help, simply because whenever there are a lot of replies to a post, it may seem that a problem has been dealt with.
Second: often I come across people thinking that they have "the same" or "a similar" problem as a previous poster, adding me too's there does not help either. Your problem may be completely different
Third: Legitimate questions get priority; a question that could have just been solved by checking a simple configuration setting, do not draw attention, because you are expected to try at least to find a solution to an easy question.

    • you would have to understand that I would love to post a link to my site, I would gladly do so in private, but when you are working with customers, you can't have their work in public without their permission when its roughed out and ugly...

    • That can be easily solved by using a developer site :cheesy:

    • The sure-fire way to get help is to post a url. if you can't do that post screenshots and offer to provide a demo access account to moderators in private. it's very difficult to diagnose a problem with a few broad comments.

    • Seems like the best way is to complain, bingo all my questions answered in a few minutes.

Take the time to help the basic questions.. no answers looks really bad for RT

Not a matter of the 'squeaky wheel getting the oil'.

The fastest way to get support is to follow the support guidelines provided, as suggested by the other moderators and Team members.

If you had followed the guidelines in the first place, perhaps your posts would have been answered without the need to complain.

    • I never seem to have a problem with getting support from these guys.

They haven't let me down yet. :cheesy:
