Using a template and it works great but I don't know how to place an article on a specific page and then how to place it in a certain spot on that page.
For that matter how do I place a module on a specific page, I understand the mapping and can place a module on a page but don't get page placement
I want to put it into position feature-a and have a module in feature-c (it was already there) Can I have modules and articles mixed in the same general?

Take a look at the layout for your template, Articles are displayed in the mainbody, Modules are published the the positions you assign them to, above, below, or on either side of the mainbody.
You can't publish 'articles' to Module positions, but you can of course place content in a Custom HTML Module and publish wherever you want.
Where the Articles show up on the page is in relation to what Modules you have published where, e.g., if you have no Modules published to a particular Menu, the mainbody will be at the top of the page, if you have several Modules published to a particular Menu above the mainbody, the Articles will show below them. - Thanks,

So how do I place an article or a module on a specific page? I think this means I should use modules most of the time and just a few articles. I printed out my template layout and understand that.
Also, If I create a custom HTML module can I use allvideos inside of it the same as an article?
I know, stupid, newbie questions, guilty on both counts.

One last thing, I have come a long way in the last two week and really like RT, great support and the coolest templates. My site is coming together and things are making sense, even if my questions suggest otherwise.

There are two types of Articles, Uncategorized, and Categorized according to how you've set up your Sections and Categories.
Articles are displayed by Menus, which display your content based on the Menu item you choose, e.g., Article (for a single Uncategorized Article) Frontpage Blog, for displaying Articles from any Section or Category, and Section or Category Blog which will display the Articles from the Section or Category.
(There are others but those are the basics.)
Modules are displayed on the pages (Menus) you specify.
Where each Module is published is controlled through Menu Assignments for each individual Module in Extensions > Module Manager.
So, for example, you could create a 'Home' Menu (using the menu of your choice) without any Modules assigned to it and the Articles would appear at the top of the page, then for example you could create 'Our Services' Menu (using the menu of your choice) and publish several Modules to it. They would show on the 'Our Services' page (Menu), but not the 'Home' page (Menu).

It mentions content items (Articles), not Modules, but I am not familiar enough with the extension to give you a definitive answer, you should check the documentation or try searching or posting on their forum. - Thanks,
