    BlackHole and Joomla

Posted 14 years 8 months ago
    • Hi:

After being victim of lot of bots crawling my site until it have gone 10-7 several times, I decided to have more control of them. I am trying BlackHole 1.2 and the question is if:
<a style="display:none;" href="http://example.com/blackhole/" rel="nofollow">Do NOT follow this link or you will be banned from the site!</a>

placing the code above into template.css will or should work for the script. The instrucction is to place the code into footer area of the website...

      TIA

    • The code you mentioned above is html code, so we can't place it in the css file. You can create a custom html module and publish it as it will not actually be displayed by the display: none code there.
