Change rotator?

Hello,
Is it possible to change rotators? I am currently using the crystalline template, and i like everything about it except that the rotator is too clunky (with the slides explicitly named below it), and id like to switch it out with a different rotator. Ideally, one closer to that used by the panacea template (with small radio buttons to rotate images, little arrows on the side, and automated). is that possible? anyone know how to do it? where should i start?

the rotating module in crystalline is roktabs, if you do not like it as much then you can give rokstories a try.
