404 Component not found - Cannot access backend login

I am using the latest Joomla successfully for the past three months with no problems. However I made changes to some of my articles yesterday with no problems but when I try to login to make changes today I keep getting 404 Component not found when I log in when I attempt to login. I have not made any configuration changes with components or my database recently.
I have searched Google with no joy any help appreciated

- Could be a SEF issue or maybe you got hacked...Who knows.

All sorted thanks to Kat mod.
We uploded the admin folder again to over write the one on the server and it sorted the problem out (whatever the problem was!!)
