Upgrade Template...but not write over existing

Hey Guys,
I've got a RT template that is quite old with no updates installed. I've done some css compressing and other stuff visually.
Is there a way to change the name to the new template so it does not overwrite the existing one? This way I can just choose the new one in the template manager.
