Not sure if this has been posted about. But if you have IE 7 running on a PC you can now have IE 6 and previously released versions for testing your script...
This is by far the easiest method I found since Microsux were so kind to prevent IE running standalone...
I have installed IE 6 and IE 5.5 only, No errors were found...
Handy when making sites using PNG images and the like.....or just trying to stick to the rules, clean simple CSS.... (Not that I know the difference yet)
No doubt soon enough the open community will have DX10 for XP as well//
IF someone can tell me how to install the latest flash plugin with this version of IE6 i'll be grateful. Keeps telling me that active-x controls are not enabled. I've set the security access to lowest, and even added adobe.com to my trusted sites list. What else is needed to be done to get this ridiculous browser to understand that i want to install flash?
It is a great concept but sometimes it is better to have the browser in question when debugging extensively. I could never get that thing to work technology, argh!
