I have used only IE6 and its plug ins work ok (I reinstalled after seeing what IE 5.5 looked like uugh!)
I do get "Unusual" interactions with IE when in use like Changing URL's sometimes fails to work or the thing just crashes. Another thing I thought about (Conspiracy!!!) Microsofts drivers have begun to degrade the system, DVD no longer working (Both of them on 4 installs, working fine with Ubuntu) and I get Blue screens at random....just bang! Crashed! That has been going on for some tme since VISTA was on sale....it could just be my imagination though! But without the recent drivers, everything is sweet!
However, I do have a good little addon for this Multi IE. I have the option to "Open Link in" IE6, IE7 and Opera. So if I want to check a site in multiple browser easily, just takes a few clicks

Where is the Addon? I searched for "Multi IE" at addon.mozzilla and did not find it. Please, do tell. ;D

Wow, this is excellent. I've been using virtual machines to run the different browser so far but that takes up a load of space and the VMs can be slow sometimes. Much better solution.
Another site to try that just came online in the past few months. I've only used it a little but it gives you an interface to test your website not only in various browser versions, but also on different OS's where you have free reign to configure the whole OS, install plugings etc. You are not just seeing screenshots, you are actually remotely controlling a virtualized pc.
I think they must be using VMware or some other type of virtualization environment. A little slow at times to load up (yet much faster and more helpful than browsershots.com), but a great idea!!
Also just an FYI, at work we are not allowed to use this alone aas a testing method as it has a few quirks and does sometimes display things differently than an actual pc running IE6.
I use it on mine work computer, but it has to go through a QA on IE6, which is running on a PC with only IE6 and the QA douchebag always finds some fluke thats obscure as crap with stupid IE.
And FYI 8 passes the acid three test.
Speaking of * has anyone tried optimiZing for it yet? We got a beta and it freaking broke the crap out of everything. no matter what tag we put in there. oh the horror!!
Well i a now done so have a splendidly good evening and may your dreams be amazing and inspiring.
