    • Hello,
Not sure where to post this topic but I'm having a problem in ie7 with the Afterburner template. It's not displaying the header properly. It looks fine in ie8 and FireFox but I can't can't seem to figure out a CSS hack for ie7. It would be great if someone could look at it in ie7 of course and maybe tell me how to fix it.
      Joomla 1.5.19
Here is the link https://www.bherron.com I have made some changes to the orig template, the logo is taller.

      Thanks,

      Joe

    • Have you looked at the padding values in template.css (or it might be called styles.css in Afterburner) for that module position? I keep IE 6 on my system just to see how really screwed up a template can look in IE (compared to Firefox!), and sure enough, in IE 6, your logo shifts down something like 30 pixels, diving underneath the menu/navigation position. Also, i don't know if that shifted logo is responsible, but your menu items no longer fit on the menu bar, and the far right one is pushed to the right border, and drops down to take up 3 lines. Certainly not a pretty site compared to your template in Firefox!
I recently replaced the Afterburner logo in the background image used on the template. Did you do the same, or try to insert a custom html logo into that position somehow (which I wasn't able to do). Don't know if you are aware, but this template has one big background image (I forget what they call it), but you just replace that one area where the Afterburner logo was, and resave it to the directory, and it works fine. Beyond that, no more input on this. Just a casual passer-by trying to help!
