Background images for Articles

    • Hi, I wonder if anyone can help?

I have taken many days to hunt in the forum to see if anyone has asked the question. It appears people are asking for background images for their templates and not for articles.

For the moment I have had to resort to creating a table, within an article and placing a background image inside it. I can't possibly think that this is the correct solution. I have tried to insert the background by using the CSS tool within articles, but it keeps on rejecting it.

I have looked at the CSS sheets for the template that I have got, however nothing seems to be standing out to me. Even if I put in my own container with an image, and then created an article and typed in the html for this container, I am sure that this will reject it, and might even mess up the template altogether.

Can someone help me out please? Many thanks - looking forward to your reply.

P.S. The template I am using is Crystalline, but I might be correct in saying that this issue could apply to any rocket theme template.

    • If you're using the TinyMCE Editor, even using the HTML button in it, and then saving your article, this will strip out code that you may need.

Try using RokPad and see if the code you need sticks there.
