I had someone that was editing some files and he did not close it out or save it, he just clicked out of the screen. He was logged in from the front side. I had to log in under him from the front and go back into the article and then save it. Then I could access it from admin panel.
So, me going into it through the admin panel and saving it, I could not do. It had to be checked back in by the other user.

- whenever that happens, log-in to your admin back-end, select--> system--> global check-in and this will clear all these issues.
