    • Is there a way I can duplicate my site so that I can test the new template I installed without changing the existing template view for the user?

      Back up your site.

      On localhost, or a sub folder of your site, create a new install by running the back up file (of course you need to make a new DB for this).

      Once you've installed the copy of your site, you can experiment with a new template without affecting your live site.

      When you are ready to make the dev site live, you cna reverse the process.
