another newbie ?...site name?

My website's name appears on google etc as Womer Law Home. In the admin panel I changed it to something a bit more descriptive "Tualatin Attorney, Gregory Womer" in the Global config / site name, but while this appears to have changed the name when I log in as the admin...it did not change the name for a user/vistor or for the search engines. How can I change the name of my site?
BTW I am using the Kinetic template for Joomla.

Either:
1. Admin > Site > Global Configuration : Site Title
2. Menu > mainmenu > Home > Page and/or Item title
3. Content > Frontpage Manager > Content Item > Title
4. Content > Static Content > Content Item > Title
5. Content > Article Manager > Article > Title
6. In your 3rd party SEF component configuration - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

Thanks for the quick replay but for some reason these items are not working for me. #1 seems to make no change except for the admin page.
If I change #2 it ruins the menu as I do want the menu item to say "Home".

- One of these suggestions MUST work! Have you cleared cache and restarted your browser? Have you cleared the Joomla cache?
