    • I had an existing joomla site and was not able to load the demo when I loaded the template.

      The rotator on the background will not display. I have another site and it works there (had the demo loaded on clean install). The article code is below for the non-functioning rotator.

      I am suspecting it is a permissions issue on either image folders or module folders, but I do not know which folders require permissions modified to 777.

      I am not sure if this rotator is controlled by a module either. Not much in the way of documentation for this portion.

      Any help is appreciated

      There is no rotator text code (should be found after <div class="rt-block">). Are you sure in your template manager "Menu Items" -> "HOME" you have the Section and Category set for your articles. Folder permissions should be set to 755.

    • On the right track. I would never have found that setting. I can enable, but when I click apply or save it will not save the autoplay, section or category. Do I need to adjust permission settings somewhere?

    • In doing a directory diagnostic, I found only the following directories with limited permissions:
      Admin Ajax File /var/www/vhosts/blackhawkcurling.com/httpdocs/administrator/templates/system/gantry-ajax-admin.php - Unwritable - Owner: Yes - Permissions: rw-r--r--
      Custom Presets File /var/www/vhosts/blackhawkcurling.com/httpdocs/templates/rt_panacea_j15/custom/presets.ini - Does Not Exist
      Frontside Ajax File /var/www/vhosts/blackhawkcurling.com/httpdocs/templates/rt_panacea_j15/gantry-ajax.php - Unwritable - Owner: Yes - Permissions: rw-r--r--

      Use your servers Cpanel or your FTP client to make the changes.

    • Solution: the problem was the missing file and parameters of : Custom Presets File /var/www/vhosts/blackhawkcurling.com/httpdocs/templates/rt_panacea_j15/custom/presets.ini - Does Not Exist

      Not knowing what template you are using or a site if you have one, makes it more difficult for us to help you.
