Need a little direction on a project

- I have picked up a site contract for a general contractor. This contractor has installers all over the U.S.. What he wishes for me to develop is something that I know has already been done somewhere, but I am having a hard time finding an example. He wants to be able to create logins for his multiple contractors so they can post images of finished work as it gets done. These images should be viewable by the general public. Does anyone know of a module available for joomla that would allow me to do such a thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A component that will allow front end uploads by members?
You could search for a gallery component that would allow this for images, but for multiple file extensions, (or future extensibility) I'd use DocMan. - Thanks,
