    • Hi guys!

      I've been some time disconnected and I'm still wanting to know more about Fireboard. Since Joomlaboard has joined Fireboard, which do you think is the future: Fireboard or SMF? Concerning Joomla of course.

      What I read is that Fireboard is more integrated, but is it integrated with CB?

    • SMF is still a much more powerful component. The only problems are the bridges which can cause problems and the integration of themes can be a pain.

      I would say this, if you have a RT template with a corresponding SMF template, then go with SMF, if not, consider Fireboard.

      Its all a matter of personal preference, I just recommend playing with both :)

    • The site I'm actually making is with ColorMatic, the next will be with Sporticus for which I'll use the SMF theme.

      However, Fireboard, as it is not a fork of Joomlaboard, is a great option and is a component made for Joomla. It's not the case of SMF.

      You guys know a lot more than me, could you tell me the differences between both of them? In terms of advantages and disadvantages. :)

    • I think the themes are coming up...Personally, i would not want to use multiple CMS's when one(with components) can do my work.
      Long story short, Fireboard :D

    • I hope so. I woudl like to see what people come up with. I know I'm gonna have at it with making some themes for it. I tried using the option to use joomla CSS and it got straight up ugly looking. Time to smack some keys and see what i can come up with.

      You guys just waiting for someone else to make them or are you gonna make some of your own? I would love to see them if you make your own. If you do please post them for us to see what you have done.
