    • I have tried uploading the Hybrid Bundle as a .zip but these error messages came up this time!

Template Install: Another template is already using directory: "/home/luxcocou/public_html/joomla/templates/rt_hybrid_j15"
      Component Install: Error
      Component Install: Error
Component Install: Custom install routine failure
      Install Component Error

Is it possible for me to email you my admin login to help me with this, I am so confused!

    • Thanks for your patience. I have now managed to install the Hybrid Bundle successfully. However, as David suggested earlier, I would like to use the RocketLauncher download also, so that I can play around with the demo content that is already in place. Is this possible now that I have installed the Bundle?
I gave it a go and it brings up this error message again:

Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

      Thank you

    • Hi Henry,

The RocketLauncher will have to be set up on a new installation and this includes Joomla. In effect you create an empty database via your cpanel and then upload the whol zip file and extract it in a sub-directory on your site. The extraction includes all joomla files, template files and extensions and content to recreate the demo site.

It CANNOT be loaded into Joomla, which I suspect is what you are doing

      Hope this helps.

    • A good advice: Download Mamp
      www.mamp.info/en/index.html

And install the Rocketlauncher locally on your Mac .
So much easier ... to learn things this way

    • Hi,

I read this thread and see no resolve in the matter. I've experienced the same problem. I've unzipped the bundle and it contains many folders/files, none with a "rt_hybrid_j15-bundle.zip"

Did you ever successfully install the bundle? If so, how?? :)

      Thanks!

      Hi David,

I must really be doing something wrong! When I click on Download for the Hybrid Bundle, it downloads a folder containing many other folders and files. None of which contain a rt_hybrid_j15-bundle.zip

I have also tried with the Hybrid RocketLauncher (as I would like to use this ... I remember finding this useful with the Dominator template).

      This is driving me nuts!

      Regards,

PS. I'm using a Mac, is this why?

There is no need to unzip the bundle. That is the zip file you use with the Joomla installer.
