Hello fellow RocketThemers!
My name is Christopher, and I am an avid Joomla user.
I have always used joomla for recrerational use and helping others get info sites together utilizng the power of Joomla and the amazing themes here at RocketTheme.
I am now at a point in my business ventures where I need am in immediate need of a very smart and intelligent Joomla programming expert.
My mission is to create a network of *Paid Subscription* based sites using Joomla as my backbone for each one, and Rocket Theme for my templates (all sites will most likely be based off of the new incredible Versatility III theme)
I have ventured into looking into various membership site script software on the market such as:
aMember
Vision Gate Portal
MemberStar
Etc..
But none of them have the backend functionality and expandablity as Joomla does from my experience.
However… these specific membership site script software platforms are fine tuned for an internet marketer to successfully run a 100% *Paid Subscription Based* membership site with seamless integration.
I would like this *Paid Subscription* Process that needs to be integrated, to follow the exact look/feel of what Joomlart has at: *LINK REMOVED* (Dan L)
Ok, down to business…
I am seeking an individual that has time right now for me to personally hire to assist me in putting together a full Joomla Installation Package consisting of a few of the Rocket Theme Templates, along with the right amount of plugins to cloesly resemble the functionality of MemberStar (You can see MemberStar’s feature list at: www.memberstar.com/element.php?varset=s:...5b70ad66ff4a31318bd9 )
In all honesty, all I need is a:
1. Paypal Subscription Module integrated into Joomla
2. Advanced Sign-up Form Fields I can add in
3. Advanced Discussion Forum for Paid Subscription Members Only to see
4. A membership sign-up process exactly like what is found at: *LINK REMOVED* (Dan L)
5. Programmer who can integrate a third party management system (InfusionCRM) with Joomla for my database tracking and mailings to all of my paid subscribers
WHEW! What a mouthful!
I will stop this post here… because I do not even know if I’m in the right place to find the right programmer for this job I need.
If this is not the right place for me to seek out an experienced Joomla Programmer to work with Rocket Theme templates and the above information…. I will move over to eLance and fire up a public project there.
I figured since there are a few individuals here on RocketTheme that are BEYOND HELPFUL to the community, that I would give all of you first crack at the project it is that I need to put together right away.

I suggest an upgrade to Pro membership if you are going to have a lot of sites.
I can do pretty much all of that except the Infusion integration, which I am not sure about.
What sort of sites are they? Community? Content? Internet Marketing type? i.e. landing pages etc. -

I have never looked into a Pro Membership yet. I will get it today though if I need it!
InfusionCRM is extremely simple (so they say) - and their support is completely jaw dropping... so I would be putting my programmer directly in touch with them if need be. I would be buying an API for seamless integration.
My sites will be full content / videos / photos / community (closed to the open public) style of sites.
I will have content that the public can see... so visitors passing by can get a feel for the specific types of content I have behind closed doors.
George... Do you have the time for me to hire you for this project?
If so... could you briefly describe what all it is you can do and recommend.

Posted 18 years 1 week ago- Have you looked at JContentSubscription? I just installed and configured it for a client. You can restrict access to categories, content items and components based on a member's paid subscription. You can have different subscriptions for different content, time frames and prices.

No - I haven't looked into it yet. Is it easy to set up?
I am dirt dumb when it comes to customizing a Joomla site with plugins and all that... My expertise is in graphic design / corporate branding / and driving traffic to sites.
You mentioned you set it up for a client.... what is it that you do? Maybe I could hire you to help me set everything up?

It's the easiest component I've ever installed and configured.
I'm a web developer specializing in Joomla CMS. I hack components, write custom scripts, etc. I am so busy with client sites I have not had time to update my own site, which is not even a Joomla site - LOL! My site was set up in my pre-Joomla days. (See my profile.)
