where do I get to "inline image ads"?

This question, I hope, isn't template specific. There are several templates showing ads within the toplevel navigation menus.
There are called "inline image ads" (in hybrid) or it just says "advertisement" in zephyr. You have "inline menu advertisement" on omnicron.
I can't find anything under these searches, don't see placements in module positions and just have no idea how I can ad banner ads or modules inside the menus.
Can you direct me to where the documentation is or :cheesy: just tell me??

i did not understand the concept
i have my fusion menu installed.
i am looking on how to add the images on the left hand side of the menu as it is on
Omicron theme. If you have a look on the menu (second tab which is called features)
there is a menu on the left.
How do i setup the menu to show an image
