Install a new template on a site joomla 1.5 already existing

Hi everybody,
I suppose that I can find an answer in the forum but I'm French and it's difficult for me to find something in english.
My problem is simple, I just want to know how to install a new template Rocketheme on a website which has already a template rockettheme install...
Of course, I use the menu "Install / Uninstall" and it works. But when I published the new template just installed, I can't find the module position and in the gantry configuration, section Layout, I well see that no position is published...
So my question is ? How to install the new template with the file and menu exemple ? It is possible ? Usually, I delete all the files in my ftp and upload the new install (with the Rocket Launcher package)...
So, if someone can help me or just explain how I can do that

If you are moving from a non-Gantry template to a Gantry based template (or any other template for that matter), you will have to republish your Modules from the old positions to the new ones.
Each template demo has a 'template map', you'll have to compare the old vs. new positions and move your content.

You can't apply a Rocket Launcher install to an existing site.
However, we often suggest installing a 'spare' copy of the Rocket Launcher on localhost or in a sub folder of your site to use as a reference as far as how the site is organized and all the content is coded. - Thanks,
