template editing error after installing gantry 3.1.15

After installing Gantry 3.1, I get errors while editing a template.
I get the problem with each 3.1 Gantry version . Last installed version is 3.1.15.
If i restore the 3.0.12 Gantry version, it is OK.
Seing the error messages (following), I have made a chmod 777 on the whole directory'components/com_gantry, but it does not solve the problem.

Did you try to change permissions to 755 or 757 here?

Hi,
I have installed again Gantry 3.1.5, and set 757 permissions on directory '/home/www/67e93c85bafd78bc3ff474ec9c63df0b/web/publimagenet/components/com_gantry/core/utilities/cache/', and on each file contained in it.
I get the same error when i try to edit a template using gantry (ie. crystalline, panacea, somaxium).
The end user interface using the panacea template continues to work.

Howdy all
Try it with the permissions set to 775. As well these permissions need to be recursively set.
Also please check your Joomla System Info to make sure all the necessary directories are writeable.

Hey
If the google translation is correct "Lecture seule" mean Readonly. All of those folders need to be writeable or your going to run into a lot of problems.
If something is not writable unless you do 777 (which is a bad idea) it means the user/group that the web server is running as does not have access to your group. You can either change the perms on the whole joomla dir structure or you can either add the user the web server runs as to your group. Or you can change the group that all the files and folders the joomla install have assigned. This is all going to be very dependent on your hosting environment.

Hi,
I have modified the permissions to 'writable' for all directories of Joomla System Info.
The problem is that Joomla does not run in the same group as the owner of the Joomla files and directories (other). So i need to allow write for 'other'.
With these permissions it is now OK.
