Header Frustration <SOLVED>

  • Header Frustration <SOLVED>

    • Alright, I've built two web-sites and I keep having the same issue with both of them. I used glossypaint and modern business templates on them. For the life of me, I can't get the headers to show up correctly after I upload a new one.

For instance, on glossypaint, I built my header using Photoshop, named it, over-wrote the file on the ftp. It keeps showing the old header for a very long time. Eventually it magiclly changes. I can't get the one's on modern business to change at all right now.

Does this have something to do with GoDaddy servers or something ? Anyone else having the same problems as me ?

I've cleared all the cache on my IE7, I've cleared the cache in joomla by going to system > Clean all caches. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Do you have a link to take a peek at the sites in question?
Could help to determine if it is a local caching issue or not.
What type of internet connection do you have? also maybe try downloading firefox and the web developer extension....

    • Sure,
The one that is fixed is www.theclarion.org
      This site is fine.

The one that I'm working on now, I just started building it today so there isn't much to it yet.
      www.sambugman.com

      I have a Cable connection. 3mb down / 512 up.

And I have both IE7 and Firefox on my machine. Cleared all cache's in both. Nothing
      It's just frustrating. ??? ::) :'(

Update : As I was typing this, it seems the "mb_header_red1.jpg" uploaded but the weird thing is it took the place of "3" instead of 1.
It still isn't showing the mb_header_red2.jpg yet.
It's like it is delayed or something. Really weird.

    • Have you tried to do a deep refresh?? ctrl + F5
