Hi All, I'm in the process of adding a breakdown recovery service to my website. I'm using the versatility template and joomla 1.5.15. What will be the best way to collect customer details when they sign up for a particular service. I would also like to assign them with a 16 digit membership number and if they call the office with that number I could type it into the system and recall their details or use their post code to retreive their information.

You might want to look into a system that is set up with what you need for customer service at it's core, but if you are sticking with Joomla, you'll want to use a Forms component to create forms and store information in the database.
I see RSForms mentioned a lot here.
