    Alternate "Gallery" module?

Posted 14 years 4 months ago
    • Hi,

I'm trying to convert my existing website to a Syndicate template on my localhost setup. Obviously some things are, uh, different!

I've tried RokSlideshow but it's not the layout I want. I like the "mouseover" layout here > radiofreesilver.com where a mouseover on the thumbnails changes the main image.

However, when I cut and paste the original code into an article, the main image and thumbnails are present but the mouseover code is stripped away by Syndicate/Joomla

So, Is there another module that can duplicate the layout and function on the original page or can this be hand coded to work within the article? Of course, every article has a different gallery/photo array.

    • The site you linked to is not a Joomla site.

RokSlideShow is a 'simple' slide show and is not configured to operate as the slide show you provided a link to.

However, there are many many slide show modules / components that mimic that particular behavior available on the JED at joomla.org.

      extensions.joomla.org/search?q=slideshow

You just have to take a bit of time to go through them and see which one best suits your needs.
